but we make a life by what we give.

Fun Facts
Jaclyn spent her formative years (1986-1991) growing up on one of the largest military bases outside of the United States -- Clark Air Base, Philippines – until the eruption of Mt. Pinatubo, which forced an evacuation off the base and led to its eventual closure. She continues to enjoy exploring new places -- running Tennessee trails (with the Franklin on the Run team), navigating old European cities (even having lived in Barcelona for a while), and learning about historical sites and local causes she finds in between these. She considers Franklin, TN home.

Jeff grew up in the suburbs of Memphis, TN.  A few years after graduating high school, the realization that he did not have what it takes to be a rock-n-roll star led him to parlay his software engineering education and experience into a lifelong career, eventually co-founding his own business in 2003 in Newport Beach, CA. Today he is the principal owner/engineer at Roundtable Software based in Franklin, TN.  In his spare time, he is an evangelist for historic and battlefield preservation, actively contributing as a board member for The Heritage Foundation of Williamson County and Battle of Franklin Trust. You may occasionally find him singing songs of pain and yearning at local open mics when he is not serenading his wife Jaclyn or petting his precious kitten Ruby.

Together, Jeff and Jaclyn enjoy the simple pleasures in life – good food, good conversation, and, enjoying the friendship and fellowship with others, who like themselves, enjoy getting involved in the community and making a difference where and how they can.  They are both active members (with Jeff also a board member) of the Downtown Franklin Rotary Club.

Why They Care
Says Jaclyn: "We like to get involved. My Friend's House is a very worthy organization to get involved with -- It fundamentally impacts the lives of these boys at a fundamental time in their lives. Through so much turmoil, much of which is beyond their control, My Friend’s House provides a place where these boys can live, heal, and grow.  There’s no telling where the influence of their experiences here will end. It's a cause worth the evangelism. We are humbled to be trusted with this effort. It is our hope that they can help share the My Friend’s House mission with as many who will listen and, ultimately, create a new groundswell of support in our community as well as among our family and friends."
